Indicating mid willingness

With mid willingness, the speaker or person referred to is partly, but not completely committed to the course of action. This can be glossed as intention.

The only adjective which is typically used to indicate intention is keen, and even the use of the adjective to indicate mid willingness depends on the context:

Tristano was keen to prove that whites could play jazz, though Charlie Parker, Lester Young and Louis Armstrong were his heroes. ext042.gif (903 bytes)

Pomeroys is accepting entries now for those keen to get thigh-high in fruit. The prizes? Cases of wine - what else? ext042.gif (903 bytes)
